Ledger Live Desktop

  1. Visit the Ledger Website: Open your web browser and go to the official Ledger website at ledger.com.

  2. Download Ledger Live: Look for the "Downloads" section on the website. Click on the link to download Ledger Live for desktop. Choose the version that corresponds to your operating system (Windows, macOS, or Linux).

  3. Install Ledger Live: Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded file on your computer and double-click on it to start the installation process. Follow the on-screen instructions to install Ledger Live on your desktop.

  4. Launch Ledger Live: After installation, locate the Ledger Live icon on your desktop or in your applications folder and double-click on it to launch the application.

  5. Create or Restore an Account: When you launch Ledger Live for the first time, you'll be prompted to either create a new account or restore an existing one. If you're setting up Ledger Live for the first time, choose the option to create a new account.

  8. Add Accounts: Once your Ledger device is connected and initialized, Ledger Live will automatically detect any cryptocurrency accounts associated with it. You can now add these accounts to Ledger Live for easy management. Follow the prompts to add your accounts.

  9. Explore Features: Once your accounts are added, you can explore the features and functionalities of Ledger Live. This includes viewing your account balances, managing transactions, and accessing additional features like the Ledger Live Manager.

  10. Secure Your Accounts: Ensure that your Ledger device and Ledger Live accounts are secure by enabling additional security features such as PIN protection, passphrase protection, and two-factor authentication (2FA).
